STAGE 02 / 08
Understand before memorising
Build a simple model and check that it remains accurate.
- 01Chapter objective
- 02Own-word definition
- 03Example and condition
- 04One recall question
Before class
Read objectives and identify unfamiliar words. Write two questions. You do not need to master the chapter beforehand; find what it aims to explain.
During: connect rather than copy
Record meaning, conditions of use, an example and a limitation. In science add units and assumptions; in humanities add evidence and context. Diagrams should show relationships rather than decorate.
After: explain without notes
Close the lesson, explain the idea and sketch its mechanism from memory. Reopen to correct mistakes and convert them into questions. If permitted AI helps, ask for hints or counterexamples and verify them against the course.
